Deaf Services


Statistics indicate that 38 percent of the Deaf population experience some form of mental distress. For this reason, the Ranch designed a Deaf Services Program that provides specialized care tailored for children who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing, children who have deaf parents. and who also have emotional or behavioral problems.

Master’s Level clinicians and behavior management specialists help these children communicate more effectively and improve their self-esteem. The program provides social identity support, increases self-confidence, and helps youth establish meaningful relationships with other children and staff who are also Deaf or Hard of Hearing.

Our comprehensive treatment services include: community support services to any child (ages 5-22) in Ohio which includes outpatient counseling, psychiatric services, 24 hour crisis support and case management. In Columbus area, there is an after school program and a summer program for children between 10 and 18 years old.

The Deaf Services Team also provides Funding assistance is available for all Ohio Deaf residents and their families.
