The Ranch provides strong clinical care to children and their families through the leadership and assessment skills of the following professionals.
Patricia Gentile, M.D.
Staff Psychiatrist
Doctor Patricia Gentile earned a Bachelor's degree in biology from Taylor University where she graduated Summa Cum Laude. Dr. Gentile earned her doctor of medicine degree from Indiana University School of Medicine and completed her residency program in general psychiatry. Upon completion of her residency, Dr. Gentile did a fellowship in child and adolescent psychiatry.
In addition to serving as the Ranch's primary psychiatrist, she also works for The Ohio State University as a clinical assistant professor and maintains a private practice in Central Ohio. She is Board certified in general psychiatry as well as child and adolescent psychiatry and is a member of the American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry and American Psychiatric Association.
James Christopher, M.D.
Child Psychiatrist
Dr. James Christopher graduated from Wayne State University Medical School and has served the clients of the Ranch for nearly ten years. Dr. Christopher is a Board certified psychiatrist and maintains a private practice in addition to his work for The Buckeye Ranch.
Douglas Pawlarczyk, Ph.D.
Psychological Consultant
Dr. Douglas Pawlarczyk received a Bachelor's degree in psychology from the University of Illinois and a Master's degree in psychology from Eastern Illinois University. He received his doctorate in clinical psychology from the University of North Dakota. Dr. Pawlarczyk is a licensed psychologist who has worked as a psychological consultant for the Ranch as well as numerous other Central Ohio child serving agencies for nearly 20 years.
Pam Scott, PhD, MSW, LISW-S, LICDC
Clinical Supervisor, Out Patient
Dr. Pam Scott earned her B.S. degree from Biola University in Southern California. She earned both her MSW and PH.D. in Social Work from Arizona State University. Prior to entering the social work profession she worked in early childhood education, focusing on the impact of poverty on early childhood development. She has worked with children and families in community mental health both in Arizona and Ohio. At The Buckeye Ranch she is part of the community-based team and supervises the Out Patient program. In addition to her work at The Buckeye Ranch, Dr. Scott has also taught at the Ohio State University and Capital University in their social work programs.
