Assisting nearly 300 Ohio youth and families, the Ranch’s Foster Care Program provides care for children from infancy through 18 years of age, and sometimes beyond. The Ranch’s large continuum of care for foster children extends from prevention services to crisis stabilization. In addition, home-based services are provided during placement.
Training, licensing and support in the form of respite care, childcare, emotional and concrete problem solving are offered. As an added support, transportation services are provided to ensure that the foster children can get the medical, educational, and therapeutic help they need.
With programs in place in Columbus, Grove City, Newark, Cincinnati, and Dayton, the Ranch's therapeutic foster care community can reach and provide therapy for thousands of adolescents who normally would not have access to a foster home network.
Our high adoption rates reflect our strong focus on the value of family. The Buckeye Ranch Foster Care recently ranked second in the State of Ohio among agencies for adoptions. One reason for this achievement is that The Buckeye Ranch offers foster-to-adopt licensure to assist with providing permanent homes for children in need of adoption.
