Starting May 1st, Kroger's Columbus Division will give up to $5 Million to non-profit organizations through the Community Rewards Program. Walmart Associate Choice Funding Opportunity
The Walmart Foundation strives to create opportunities so people can live better. In all our giving efforts, we strive to meet the unmet needs of underserved populations and support organizations that give individuals access to a better life. We believe in operating globally and giving back locally which is why the majority of our charitable giving is done locally and in partnership with our associates. Walmart associates are proud of the difference they make in their local communities and feel good about giving back to the places their friends and families live.
With our commitment to involving our associates in mind, the Walmart Foundation has created a new program called the Associate Choice Program. This interactive campaign will allow Walmart and Sam’s Club associates to vote on the causes that they identify as important to the company and their community.
The organization that receives the most votes per state will be identified as that state’s “Associate Choice Winner” and will receive a $100K grant! Winners will be announced August 2011.

The 2012 Taste of Dine Originals
Join us as The Buckeye Ranch and Dine Originals Columbus hosts the 5th annual Taste of Dine Originals event. The evening will include food samplings from 52 of the locally owned and operated restaurants, wine and beer tastings, along with spirits provided by locally distilleries. There will also be a silent auction and wine raffle where all money raised benefits Dine Originals Columbus and the programs and services of The Buckeye Ranch.
When: Thursday May 10 from 6:00-9:00
Where: The Capital University Field house

The 2011 Taste of Dine Originals
On Thursday, May 12 guests joined The Buckeye Ranch and Dine Originals Columbus for the 4th annual Taste of Dine Originals. The evening was a celebration of food and drink featuring culinary specialties from over 52 locally owned and operated restaurants. The Grange Insurance Audubon Center served as the backdrop for a gala event like none other! Guests strolled along the terrace and enjoyed wine, local spirits and expanded their epicurean horizons with magnificent food. The event was complete with a silent auction and wine raffle. A wonderful evening was had by all! Plans are already underway for next year's Taste of Dine Originals event, which is sure to be another amazing event!
The 2011 Buckeye Ranch Bash presented by KeyBank
The Buckeye Ranch Bash was held on June 25th at Crew Stadium. The bash featured a bonanza of delicious food and beverages. Following the bash, our guests attended a concert featuring Kenny Chesney! Hundreds of people came out for this memorable event. Thanks to our guests and sponsors, we raised $130,000 for The Buckeye Ranch. The 2011 Charlie Hill Memorial Golf Outing
The skies were dark on the morning of June 10, 2011 as The Buckeye Ranch prepared for the 19th Annual Charlie Hill Memorial Golf Outing at Phoenix Golf Links in Grove City. But the skies cleared and 88 guests enjoyed a beautiful day of food, drink, golf and fun! All proceeds from this event benefit the programs and services of The Buckeye Ranch.
