Residential Services

Though research shows that children and families are best served in their homes and communities, there are severe cases in which a child may require treatment outside of their home.  The Buckeye Ranch has the facilities and the treatment capacity to serve children and adolescents with these serious mental health needs, behavioral challenges, and substance use issues.

Everyday in this rich, conducive environment, girls and boys ages 10-18 are experiencing hope and healing.  For those youth that require a secure residential setting, our Intensive Care Center provides the care and structure they need with locked units, cameras, and a 1:4 staff-to-youth ratio.  For those youth that do not require a locked setting, but who still need a residential level of care, our Open Campus can provide the treatment and skills they need to prepare for successful transition back into the community.
