DIRECTOR OF QUALITY IMPROVEMENT / COMPLIANCE OFFICER

The Buckeye Ranch provides a comprehensive treatment approach to youth and families through a continuum of care, including: Community-Based Services , Community Support Services, Residential Treatment, Day Treatment, Permanent Family Solutions, Foster Care, and Transition-Age Youth programming, serving approximately 5,000 children and young adults annually.

The Director of Quality Improvement / Compliance Officer’s scope of responsibilities include ensuring clinical excellence; maximizing fiscal resources; networking with allied providers to coordinate services and maximize quality outcomes; agency reviews to examine practice structures, processes and resources; serving as a resource to management and staff to ensure that all departments are in compliance with Joint Commission accreditation standards, HIPAA regulations,  and all applicable organizational, contractual, state, federal, and local statutes pertaining to agency licensing and regulation. 

Responsibilities also include: developing policies, in collaboration with the Executive Team, as well as interpreting and supporting policies and procedures; quality improvement processes within The Buckeye Ranch; and oversight of compliance reports, documents, statistical surveys, and data.

This position supervises a team of seven (7) including Clinical Quality, Audits, Service Utilization, Safety, HIPAA, and all other areas related to QI and Compliance. 

Candidates must possess outstanding interpersonal, verbal, written, technical, MS Office and project management skills. 

Required:

Bachelor’s degree in human services or health care field

At least, five (5) years of professional experience performing any combination of quality assurance, quality control, and/or compliance, preferably in a behavioral healthcare organization

Preferred, but not required:

Master’s degree
