HOME-BASED CLINICIAN  -  R-IFSP

The Buckeye Ranch is in search of a child and family therapist to join the Residential Intensive Family Support Program team to provide family centered services to young people in their homes and communities. 

Provide intensive services to a small case load of families who are struggling with multiple challenges such as intergenerational trauma; depression; anxiety; family conflict; substance misuse; and legal involvement. 

Assist families in leveraging their strengths and resources to overcome challenges and achieve their goals. 

Build collaborative relationships with diverse families and systems. 

Incorporate creative, individualized interventions and approaches. 

Work closely with families to assist young people in successfully returning from out-of-home placement and thriving in their communities.

Therapists on the RIFSP team receive continual training, consultation, and supervision, in numerous areas including: trauma-informed care; family therapy; experiential and expressive treatment approaches; Integrative Family and Systems Treatment (IFAST;) the Attachment, Regulation, and Competency (ARC) model; and Neurosequential Model of Therapeutics (NMT,) among others.

Required:

Bachelor’s degree

State of Ohio LSW, LPC, or MFT license in good standing

Ability to work both independenly and as part of a team

Experience efficiently managing time and multiple priorities

Preferred, but not required:

Master’s degree in human services field

Clinical experience with children and families

Experience with family-therapy; trauma treatment; and/or substance misuse (AOD) treatment
