Carla Clark (MSW, LISW-S, LICDC-CS) has dedicated her career to supporting youth and families throughout the state of Ohio for over 25 years. She has spent her career raising hope and restoring healing at The Buckeye Ranch, supporting the growth and development of several programs across the organization. Carla has supported Child Welfare Services, Community-Based and Education-Based Mental Health Services, and Integrated Care Services as a clinician, supervisor, and department leader over the last 25 years. Through it all, her goal has always been to improve functionality in The Buckeye Ranch’s continuum of care to ensure better access to critical mental and behavioral healthcare for youth and families in her community.
Carla’s outstanding contributions have been recognized at The Buckeye Ranch with Spirit Award in 2006 and 2014, which is an honor bestowed upon team members for embodying the organization’s values of respect, collaboration, honesty, accountability, and above all, caring for children, youth, and families. Each of these values guides Carla’s approach to service and leadership. She collaborates with other key support organizations in our community, including the Franklin County Alcohol, Drug, and Mental Health (ADAMH) Board, Franklin County Children Services, Franklin County Courts, Case Western Center of Excellence, and Functional Family Therapy, LLC, to continue to streamline access to care and break down barriers for youth and family supports across the community.
Carla holds a bachelor’s degree in social work from Capital University and a master’s degree in social work from The Ohio State University. She resides in Columbus, Ohio, with her husband, two children, and four grandchildren. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with family, traveling, reading, and creating art.
