Chamese Jarrett (CPA) is a financial executive with more than 15 years of audit and senior-level leadership experience. She currently serves as Financial Controller at The Buckeye Ranch, where she supports teams across six different locations in Central and Southwestern Ohio serving more than 2,350 youth as a leading provider of emotional, behavioral, and mental health services for children and families. In her role, she has exhibited a track record of supporting the organization in increasing revenue, reducing costs, instituting sound internal controls, and improving operational efficiencies. Both at The Buckeye Ranch and in former roles, Chamese has established and led high-performance teams, created first-time financial and operating infrastructures, designed policies and procedures, and identified optimal risk management methodologies.
She has a deep passion for supporting her community and has worked to support youth and families on their journeys to hope and healing at The Buckeye Ranch through strategically planning, coordinating, and executing projects impacting enterprise-wide operations, conducting organizational reviews to identify initiatives with the strongest return on investment and fueling identification of continuous improvement opportunities. Before her tenure at The Buckeye Ranch, Chamese previously held various positions including Project Manager, Financial Director, and Audit Manager for Nationwide Insurance, served as the Controller for Community Development for All People, as well as served Trinity Health as a Senior Auditor.
Chamese is a Certified Public Accountant and a graduate of Capital University. Additionally, Chamese is the current Treasurer for the Charitable Pharmacy of Central Ohio and the Associate Board Director for Kemba Financial Credit Union.
