Overview

As a parent, The Buckeye Ranch can equip you with the information that empowers your decision making so you can make the best choice for your child and family.

The Buckeye Ranch takes a strength-based approach with every child, young person and family. This means we firmly believe all children and families have strengths and those strengths can be accessed to help families reach their full potential. We also recognize that families are fundamental in the lives of children and therefore, central to the treatment we provide.  We value the role of the family in a child’s development and build working partnerships with caregivers to create a lasting change.

The Buckeye Ranch provides a large continuum of care to help you and your family with the challenges of severe mental health issues, emotional issues, and family conflict. We are available to help you discuss your needs and circumstances, and assist you in tailoring a treatment program to meet your specific needs.

The first step in the treatment process is determining what kind of care your child needs. We will schedule a diagnostic assessment for your child that will determine the appropriate level and the appropriate kind of care your child may need. You can choose to have the assessment performed at any one of four Buckeye Ranch locations conveniently located around Columbus. After the diagnostic assessment is complete, an Assessment Clinican will facilitate referrals to the appropriate treatment program.

Please contact Admissions and  Engagement Department for more information about how our programs and services can support you and your family. Referrals can be made in person at our Admissions and Engagement  Columbus locations, Monday-Friday 8:30am-5:00pm or via telephone at (614) 384-7798. Referrals can also be faxed to (614) 384-7703.
