Home Runs for Hometown Kids

what is Home Runs for Hometown Kids?

Each year, The Buckeye Ranch partners with the Columbus Clippers all season long to raise funds to support provide hope and restore healing for youth and families in our community. Investments made to the program provide mental health and child welfare support and resources to hometown kids in our community.

Those who participate have an opportunity to pledge $1, $3, or $5 for every home run the Clippers hit this season.  At the end of the season, your pledge amount will be multiplied by the total number of home runs hit by the team throughout the season, pledges will be fulfilled, and all funds will benefit youth and families in our community being served by The Buckeye Ranch.

How can I support?

This year’s season begins on March 29, 2024. We hope you’ll consider making an impact this year! Some estimates for pledges based on last season’s 176 homeruns hit:

⚾  Singles: $1 pledge per home run (2023 average donation of $176)

⚾  Triples: $3 pledge per home run (2023 average donation of $528)

⚾  Grand Slam: $5 pledge per home run (2023 average donation of $880)
