The School-Based Program partners with schools to increase resiliency and strengthen social-emotional learning skills for students experiencing impairment in multiple areas.
The Buckeye Ranch clinicians are integrated into the school setting and aim to decrease the gap in access to mental health services. Intense treatment services are provided to students and families, along with collaboration with school staff, to address individualized needs such as youth depression and anxiety.

Treatment Modality includes Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) Skills in Schools and DBT Skills Training for Emotional Problem Solving for Adolescents (DBT STEPS-A). DBT Skills in Schools and DBT Steps A have been demonstrated to be effective in helping youth manage difficult emotional situations, cope with stress, and make better decisions.
Counseling is provided in the home and school with 2-3 sessions a week that include school staff and guardians.
