Margrit Springer (MSW) has dedicated her career to ensuring healing and eliminating barriers to mental and behavioral healthcare for youth and families in her community for over 15 years. Presently, she serves as the Vice President of Integrated Care Services at The Buckeye Ranch, where she leads and supports the Admissions and Engagement program, the Care Management Entity program, as well as the Community Medication Management program, supporting hundreds of team members, youth, and families each year. Margrit stepped into this role in 2021, making an immediate impact on the organization’s continuum of care by launching the Care Management Entity program in July 2022.
As seasoned leader at The Buckeye Ranch, Margrit has supported several different programs across Community-Based and Education-Based Mental Health Services and Integrated Care Services, driving the growth and capacity of those programs throughout her tenure. Notable achievements include transforming the Admissions and Engagement program, developing a Same-Day Access process for families, improving access to care for those needing mental health services urgently. Margrit is focused on optimizing the integration of the 18 programs across The Buckeye Ranch’s continuum of care to ensure support for all families as they navigate the complex Medicaid system. Her work to improve care coordination has advanced The Buckeye Ranch’s mission, allowing for the team to raise more hope and restore more healing for youth and families across Ohio, positively impacting our community for generations to come.
Margrit holds a master’s degree in social work from The Ohio State University and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Denison University.
