Functional Family Therapy (FFT)

Functional Family Therapy (FFT)

The Buckeye Ranch’s Functional Family Therapy (FFT) program is for youth ages 11 through 18 who need support to implement effective and sustainable communication skills. The program also partners with OhioRISE to best support youth and family access.

The goal of the program is to implement a strength-focused family counseling model designed primarily for at-risk youth who are involved with juvenile justice,
mental health, school, and/or child welfare systems, ultimately ensuring youth have the skills to blossom into who they are meant to be in our community.

What to expect from FFT:

  • Program length is short-term, typically lasting 3-5 months
  • In-home services at times that fit families' schedules and needs
  • Staff provide 24/7 on-call support
