The Buckeye Ranch’s Functional Family Therapy (FFT) program is for youth ages 11 through 18 who need support to implement effective and sustainable communication skills. The program also partners with OhioRISE to best support youth and family access.
The goal of the program is to implement a strength-focused family counseling model designed primarily for at-risk youth who are involved with juvenile justice,
mental health, school, and/or child welfare systems, ultimately ensuring youth have the skills to blossom into who they are meant to be in our community.
The FFT program served 111 families in 2023, providing 5,000 hours of clinical service to support healing!
The Buckeye Ranch believes all families have strengths, and each member of the family plays an integral part in treatment. Our six Community-Based Mental Health Services programs are designed to work with children, their families, and members of the community to reduce concerning behaviors while helping children, youth, and families meet their own unique goals and plans.
