The Buckeye Ranch’s Qualified Residential Treatment Program (QRTP) on our Grove City residential campus focuses on a family-centered treatment approach with a goal to help youth have a dedicated space to heal while preserving family relationships. We believe that maintaining these bonds are critical to the youth’s healing journey and transition back into the community.
Our secure campus provides care and structure that youth need along their inpatient healing journey, including units that can lock, cameras, and 1:4 youth to staff ratio. Youth of all genders and backgrounds, ages 9-17, are provided the treatment and skills they need to heal with the support of QRTP staff.
The Buckeye Ranch’s QRTP provides a trauma-informed therapeutic environment for youth with mental health diagnoses. We specialize in providing treatment for youth with histories of trauma resulting from abuse and neglect. The Buckeye Ranch addresses a variety of issues, including:
The Buckeye Ranch admits youth into appropriate housing units based on chronological age, developmental age, gender identity, and presenting behaviors. Given these factors, housing units are comprised of youth with similar abilities, interests, and needs. Youth with specific individual challenges, such as substance use disorders, are linked with appropriate services. When it is determined that a youth has been placed within a housing unit that is not an appropriate fit for that youth, every effort is made to make accommodations and/or to move that youth to a different, more appropriate unit.
