Join us for a comprehensive training session designed specifically for foster caregivers, provided by the Buckeye Ranch Foster Care Training Department. This course follows The Red Cross curriculum and covers essential skills in Adult & Pediatric CPR, AED usage, and First Aid for adults, children, and infants. It is a valuable opportunity to enhance your caregiving abilities and ensure the safety and well-being of those in your care.

This 3-hour training provides foster, adoptive, and kinship caregivers with a comprehensive understanding of cannabis use, its effects on adolescents, and evidence-based treatment approaches. Participants will learn about cannabis components, consumption methods, slang, and cultural perspectives. The session covers cannabis use disorder criteria, adolescent treatment challenges, and practical strategies for parental detection and intervention.
